- I am the second born and second girl in our family of eight. I am learning the fine art of keeping a home, which usually includes some funny and not-so-funny moments and helping with the medical care of my littlest brother who has Down syndrome and finished treatment for childhood leukemia on 10/23/09 and had surgery to get rid of his ileostomy on 6/2/10. If I'm not blogging at One Big Adventure, my family's blog, then you just might find me over at my blog, An American Maiden, or maybe I'll be washing laundry :*)...
