Purpose of the Carnival
The purpose of this carnival is keep Christ in the forefront during the busy Christmas season and to encourage others to do the same.
Who Can Participate
Anyone can participate, as long as their posts are God-honoring. Your post can be scripture (prophecy or the Christmas story), a Christmas story (as long as it makes the true meaning of Christmas clear), Christmas Carols, etc... Please do not post about Santa Claus or songs like Jingle Bells and We wish you a Merry Christmas. They don't fit in the qualifications of keeping Christ in Christmas.
How It Works
Here is what will happen on the day of the carnival.
1-On each Monday during the carnival, We, McKenzie or Hannah, will post a new post and add a Mr. Linky or MckLinky at the bottom of the post. The carnival will be running every Monday in December and the last carnival day will be Christmas Eve.
2- If you want to participate, post a new post on your blog relating to the carnival topic (Keeping Christ in Christmas). Or if you already have an older post you would like to use, you are welcome to re-post it.
2- If you want to participate, post a new post on your blog relating to the carnival topic (Keeping Christ in Christmas). Or if you already have an older post you would like to use, you are welcome to re-post it.
3-Then, come over to Pecan Pastures or One Southern Girl (whoever is hosting the carnival for that day) and enter your information into the Mr. Linky/MckLinky. On the top line include the name of your blog and the title of your post (for example-- One Southern Girl-Angels, We Have Heard On High). On the second line, include the link to your specific post (cut and paste this from your browser address line for the individual post), not to your website.
4-Add the carnival button to your post and/or add this paragraph somewhere in your post--most people include this at the beginning or end of their post.
